What it is: a refillable holder for silica gel beads that keeps the inside of your vial case dry. It does not hold or protect a vial - it takes the place of one vial in an empty slot of your case, and the beads inside soak up moisture.
How it works
- Unscrew the cap.
- Fill the holder with 2 to 5 mm silica gel beads (beads not included).
- Screw the cap back on and drop the holder into an empty 3 mL or 10 mL vial slot in your case.
- When color-indicating beads change color, dry the beads in the oven (never the holder) and refill.
Which size do I need?
- 3 mL slot size: for a case with 3 mL vial slots (slot 17.5 mm across or wider). The holder is 16.5 mm x 39 mm
- 10 mL slot size: for a case with 10 mL vial slots (slot 26 mm across or wider). The holder is 25.4 mm x 54 mm
